LOT 6268Seller's Estimate: USD 250 - 350Lot of seven prints etc., to include: "New Found and Government Railway" letter and photo, letter 8" h x 5 1/8" w (sight); signed letter from John Buchan (info verso) and photo, letter 8" h x 7" w (sight); framed lithographs of 6 writers, Emerson, Longfellow, Whittier, Lowell, Holmes and Bruant, each 4" h x 3" w (sight); lithograph of landscape, 8" h x 10" w (sight); lithograph of a nude, signed indistinctly "Seaton" , 12 7/8" h x 9 7/8" w (sight); "woman in a hat" lithograph, signed indistinctly "Deborah Burnham" in pencil, titled and numbered 3/3 proof, 10 3/4" h x 8" w; colored engraving of buildings, 10 7/8" h x 15 3/4" w (sight), 18 1/8" h x 22 3/8" w (frame). GRENFELL, WILFRED M.D. ALS AND PHOTOGRAPH. 6/20/1926. Grenfell was a missionary and doctor to fishermen in Labrador.He built schools and hospitals for the people there. Manuscript letter (1 page) signed and decorated by a small drawing of his ship, S. S. Strathcona . The letter was written on Newfoundland Government Railway stationery with the return address of S.
