SCRIPT CLEARANCE SALE A friend is clearing out a bunch of scripts from her collection this month and brought boxes of them to me to sell for her on eBay. We've grouped them together in lots from the same show and are going to be offering them at a set price for the lot of scripts. All lots are sold as a group -- I will not be breaking them up to sell a single script separately, so please don't bother asking me to do so. Payment for these are accepted through PayPal and payment must be made when you make your purchase. HART TO HARTLOT OF THREE UNFILMED SCRIPTSLot of three unfilmed scripts for the series starring Stefanie Powers and Robert Wagner HARTS TOWN Researching this title as best as I could I can find no episode for the series under this title (HARTS TOWN). This script is a second draft of October 19, 1981 and has no author credit listed to it. Going through an episode guide I cannot find any aired episode which matches the storyline of this script ( The Harts visit a rundown state orphanage they donate money to only to find a cruel physical education instructor terrorizing boys and an alcoholic ex-doctor on the staff ), so it doesn't appear this script was filmed and aired under a different title. From what I can see this script never made it before the cameras. ROMANTIC HARTS Researching this title as best as I could I can find no episode forthe series under this title (ROMANTIC HARTS). The writers ofthis script (Duane Poole and Tom Swale) wrote two episodes ofHART TO HART (RHINESTONE HARTS & HARTS AND FLOWERS)but this script is not either of those episodes under an earlier title.Doing more digging it seems that these two writers only did twofilmed episodes of the series.Going through an episode guide I cannot find any aired episodewhich matches the storyline of this script as well (just in case thescript was turned over to other writers and also had a title changebefore it aired).This script is a Work Draft of March 3, 1982 - and as best I cantell never made it before the cameras. A MURDER FOR PEANUTS Researching this title as best as I could I can find no episode forthe series under this title (A MURDER FOR PEANUTS). The writerthis script (Donald Ross) wrote scripts for three episodes of HARTTO HART ( "Murder is Man's Best Friend", "Blue Chip Murder", and"Murder is a Drag" ) but this script, with it's storyline about the Hartsreturning from Africa with a baby elephant named 'Peanuts' they aredonating to a local zoo (w murder has been committed to tryand cover up a plot to ruin the zoo's reputation by poisoning theanimals) I cannot find a match for in any of the episode guides andreference material for the series.This script is a Work Draft of March 17, 1981 - and as best I cantell never made it before the cameras. Unfilmed scripts for a series are like being able to read anepisode of a favorite show you've never seen before. It'sa common practice for a studio / production companyto commission more scripts to be written than will beproduced. Sometimes a script will have been written butthe series is cancelled before filming. A script may havebeen submitted but the producers end up feeling the storywouldn't work out for some reason. A script may be writtenand then shelved in favor of a different storyline. Reasonsfor why a script may not make it before the cameras can bevaried, but these stories can offer interesting glimpses ofepisodes that "might have been". Among collectors, theseunproduced scripts are often the most highly sought after.
