A lot of 2 vintage circa 1900 gunmetal pocket watches for spares repairs..Both have broken balance staffs..One is identified as a J.W.Benson Longines.. 1..The watch on the left of the picture..Clean gunmetal case in good condition with strong hinges..Original clean thick glass lens..Clean enamel dial has one light stress line.Original hands...Clean complete movement..Broken balance staff but movement ticks when face down.. 2..The watch on the right of the picture is signed by J.W.Benson and the movement although unsigned has been identified as Longines..The gunmetal case has a little surface rust but otherwise good condition with strong hinges.Signed inside the back by J.W.Benson...Original glass lens..Clean dial with just one very light stress line..Missing minute hand..Clean complete movement has broken balance staff and is not working...Identified as early Longines..Numbered 1598853..(dates the watch to approx 1905).. Selling for repair/spare parts..
