Lot (9) rare Vintage Czech Vaseline Uranium crystal Art glass bangles hoops Description Lot (9) Vintage Czech Bohemian vaseline uranium art glass bangles hoops.� These glow beautifully under UV black light due to the radioactive content of the glass caused by the addition of low levels of Uranium. Please note, the radiation levels are harmless and similar to background levels. /wiki/Uranium_glass Primarily these pieces were made for export to India as ritual items and ornaments. Sybille Jargstorf describes these bangles in the book - Heritage of Bohemia on page 126.
