On offer in this auction is a mixed lot of beautiful vintage and antiquejewellery including both fine and costume pieces. There are 13 items in total - please read the descriptions below and refer to the pictures for full detail of design and condition. Any flaws/ issues that I can see are mentioned in the descriptions and please also refer to the condition description above. Brooches - Dragonfly brooch with turquoise/ blue diamante stones on body and wings. Brass tone brooch. Measures 2.5 x 4.25cm and fastens with a brass tone pin and rollover safety clasp. - Diamante flower brooch. A brass tone brooch has been studded with round faceted clear paste stones. It measures 5.75cm x 2cm (max) and fastens with a brass tone pin and simple ‘C’ clasp. All the stones are present, but most of the pearly white enamel has come off with only remnants remaining. - Sterling silver filigree boutonniere brooch. This intricately filigreed piece can hold a flower bud to make an eye catching fashion statement. It measures 4cm x 2cm and fastens with a silver pin and simple ‘C’ clasp. It is stamped on the back, but the stamp is worn. I believe it reads 925 and it has been tested for silver. - Mother of pearl brooch from 'Exquisite'. An oval of mother of pearl has been set into a gold tone brooch. It measures 4.5cm x 3cm and fastens with a gold tone pin and rollover safety clasp. The back is stamped ‘EXQUISITE’. - Celluloid/ Bakelite/ early plastic rose. Made from some sort of early plastic and painted, this rose brooch measures 3.5cm x 2cm (max) and fastens with a silver tone pin and simple ‘C’ clasp. - Foiled glass bird brooch. A round foiled glass nugget and a faceted purple stone make the body and head of this quirky gold tone bird brooch. It measures 3.5cm x 3cm (max) and fastens with a gold tone pin and rollover safety clasp. - Sterling silver filigree flower brooch. An eye catching silver filigree design holds a delicate rosebud in the centre. It measures 6.75cm x 3.5cm and fastens with a silver pin and rollover safety clasp. I cannot see any marks but it has been tested for silver. - Micro Mosaic/ micromosaic brooch. Tiny glass tiles including millefiore glass have been set into a gold tone brooch to make a lovely floral design. It measures 2.25cm in diameter and fastens with a gold tone safety pin style clasp. Necklaces - Ceramic bell necklace. A long (approximately 68cm) gold tone chain holds a ceramic bell pendant. The bell is painted with delicate flowers, has a gold chain tassel in the centre and the inside of the bell is stamped ‘MADE IN ENGLAND’. - Silver and turquoise/ turquoise glass necklace which probably dates to the Art Deco period. Two large and two small turquoise cabochons have been set amongst silver tone panels. I cannot find any marks on this necklace, so I am unsure whether or not it is silver. I did not want to test it at the risk of damaging it, as it is very beautiful. The designed panels in the middle of the necklace are 1.25cm deep and run for 11cm. The necklace is approximately 43cm long. - Sterling silver an opal necklace. A 45cm long gold tone (unmarked) chain holds a beautiful leaf shaped pendant set with a blue coloured opal/ opalite stone in the centre. The back of the leaf is stamped 925, and I believe it has been coated in gold to give it its golden finish. Miscellaneous - Ornate multi coloured glass stone pendant in the 'Czech' style. Set into a large decorative metal setting are round faceted paste stones in purple, blue, green, yellow and pink. This eye catching piece has a space around the edge where a cord or chain could be added to make it into a necklace (a jump ring may be required depending on how you want it to sit). It measures 5.25cm in diameter. - Large abalone and mother of pearl brooch/ necklace. Mother of pearl panels form a beautiful flower set into a background of abalone/ paua shell.
