This lot of 2 pieces of vintage circa 1950's Western theme restaurant ware were made by Shenango. The plate is 7" in diameter and the graphics have a cowboy riding a horse in the center and graphics of branding irons, cowboy hats and boots, a saddle and horse head around the edge. This plate has a green mark on the back. It has seen some use but the graphics are still clear. There are some small discoloration spots mostly around the edge and on the back there is a small faint 1/2" hairline crack that is not visible from the front. The other dish is a small sauce or dipping dish or bowl measuring 5 3/4" in diameter. It has the black mark and no graphics in the center but some of the same matching cowboy theme graphics around the edge. It is slightly darker in color than the plate and is in very good condition with no cracks or chips. If held just right in the light wear is visible on the bottom inside due to use.
