Rambler Rose by Lotus / Glastonbury
Many Lotus / Glastonbury patterns such as Brocade and Rambler Rose have been staples in the American home for the past century and passed down from generation to generation. They continue to be in demand by discriminating hostesses and serious collectors alike today. The Rambler Rose pattern came in a number of stem types. The stem type offered in this auction today is stem number 1125 with an optic bowl. Rambler Rose was also produced by Tiffin and the Tiffin stem equivalent is number 10542. These are interchangeable and only you need to know the difference. This beautiful set consists of three (3) 4 5/8-inch tall juice glasses and one 7 5/8-inch water goblet. They are in excellent condition, no chips, repairs, or stains. The gold encrusted rim highlighting is intact and in very good condition but shows some wear, as do many well-used estate pieces. The wear is not significant enough to deter you from purchasing and using this beautiful set. This spectacular set will be an impressive addition to your table or display cabinet if you bid now ! T are other stems in the Rambler Rose pattern being offered today. The Rambler Rose group is part of a large collection of dinnerware and serving pieces I assembled and used throughout our "entertaining years". T are times, however, when multiple shipments may be necessary, large sets or mixed media (heavy sliver and delicate crystal for example).
