This is an exquisitely elegant water set made by the prestigious Louie Glass Co.in the early 1930s. It is known as 'Harpo', in honor of one of the famous Marx Bros.(A 'Groucho' was also made) The electric blue bulbous pitcher stands almost 9 in. tall and has a beautiful crystal applied handle, which is reeded. The tumblers stand 4in. tall. The pitcher and five of the tumblers are in excellent condition, while a sixth tumbler has a small rim nick. The price of the set has been generously reduced to reflect this tiny imperfection. A stunning set for the cobalt blue collector, and a special addition to a Louie Glass collection.
