Louis XV by Whiting Sterling Offered by The Heart of Kansas is a very fine and rare set of 6 salad / dessert knives with silverplated blades and bolster in the Louis XV pattern of sterling silver flatware by Whiting. I have other items in this flatware pattern currently offered on eBay, so visit all my Louis XV listings. Length: 8 1/4" Monograms: A cursive letter "F" is engraved on the handles. Condition: This flatware has been inspected and found to be in very good, gently used condition with crisp design detail. This sterling is free of damage, pitting or corrosion and will blend in well with other gently used pieces. Please Note: the silverplated blades are some of the most well-preserved I have ever seen. The only areas of wear are slight and confined to the blade edges. I would rank these blades as a solid 9 out of 10 for condition.
