LOUIS ARMSTRONG rare vintage 1952 fully signed program LOUIS ARMSTRONG - vintage original Oct 1952 German tour program (fully signed) Up for auction is a unique, one of a kind, original concert program for legendary American trumpeter and singer LOUIS ARMSTRONG's October 1952 German tour, presented by Welt Ebner. This was Armstrong's first ever tour of Germany with concerts in D�sseldorf, Hannover, Frankfurt, Berlin, Hamburg, Bremen, Stuttgart, Munich, Dortmund and Mannheim. What makes this particular program so unique is that it has been authentically signed, not only by Louis Armstrong himself, but also by each member of his band, Cozy Cole (drums), Velma Middleton (vocals), Trummy Young (trombone), Marty Napoleon (piano), Bob McCracken (clarinet), and Arvell Shaw (bass). Armstrong's signature is signed in ink at his photograph on p. 3 while the rest of the signatures all appear on p. 5. Cozy Cole, Marty Napoleon and Welma Middleton have all signed in ink, while Bob McCracken, Arvell Shaw and Trummy Young have signed in pencil. The program itself measures 5-13/16 x 8-3/16 inches (14.8 x 20.9 cm) and consists of 12 pages of b/w photos and text in German. The program has been folded twice with a visible horizontal fold line.
