This is a handwritten note from Supreme Court Associate Justice Louis D. Brandies. The note was a response to my great aunt for her request for an autograph. The envelope was personally addressed to her from Brandies. Condition of note and envelope are very good. No rips or discolorations. Just the normal ink spots from a fountain pen. The note and envelope are embossed Supreme Court of the United States, Washington D.C. Postmarked Jun 30 1938 from Denniston Mass. Size of the note is 7"x 4-1/2". My aunt was an avid autograph collector from 1935-1943. All of her autographs were sold previously on ebay. This one was found among her first day covers. The covers will be sold at a later date. All of the reciepients of the autographs were very happy with their purchase, as you can see from my feedbacks. This autograph note and envelope are guaranteed to be authentic. A similar signed piece from Brandies was priced at $2500.00 and up on an internet site. Postage is actual. Insurance is optional but recommended. Please contact me if you have any questions. Thanks so much for looking! God Bless Our Soldiers!
