These pieces are part of a private collection and they are being offered forsale. Measurements are: 17.5 x 78". Both pieces arecast iron with copper plating and were cast by the Winslow Brothers foundry in Chicago for Louis Sullivan for the Chicago Stock Exchange 1893. Pieces are in excellent condition with some surface rust, but can be cleaned and restored as I did with mine shown in image . Some of the plating is inconsistent due to age and wear. Pieces originally were in the ground level of the building (double star pattern) and upper level stringers were distinguished by the single star design and were much smaller in size. Shown in the picture is a before and after of a section that has been cleaned for reference (cutting fee of 30.00 applies). Let me know if you have any interest in any of these pieces. Pieces are located in Chicago and I can arrange a freight company (plycongroup) to deliver the pieces to your door. We have a piece that is 78 inches in length and we are offering each pattern at 800.00 each. We will cut as many as this piece will allow (ten patterns ). Please contact me if you are interested in a single or a number of patterns. One cut pattern measures about 8.5 x 17.5 (one is visible in the picture).
