LOUIS TIFFANY STAINED ART GLASS PEACOCK by GLASSMASTERS 1990~EXCELLENT~NoRESERVE! PLEASE NOTE THAT THIS IS A 7 DAY NO RESERVE AUCTION. HIGH BIDDER WILL WIN THIS ITEM!!! FOR SALE IN THIS AUCTION is a beautiful glass panel of a colorfully painted peacock. It was made by Glassmasters in 1990 and is a copy of a Louis Tiffany stained glass window. The original, now in a private collection, was commissioned in 1912 by Captain Joseph R. DeLamar for his townhouse in New York and was later moved to his country estate "Pembroke" at Glen Cove, Long Island. The regal peacock shows off the iridescent hues of blue and green in his flowing tail on a balustrade beneath pendant wisteria. GLASSMASTERS WENT INTO LIQUIDATION IN 2005. ATTEMPTS HAVE BEEN MADE TO ACQUIRE THE ASSETS AND RESTART THE COMPANY BUT SO FAR WITHOUT SUCCESS. So this piece is no longer in production. Original price before shipping and handling costs was approximately $70. It is in a thin metal frame that has two holes punched in it for hanging. Measures approximately 9 1/2" by 14". It would look beautiful hanging in any window or in front of a mirror. It weighs 3 lbs. because it is glass and NOT plastic. This is an estate item find that is preowned. It is in excellent condition with NO damage that I can see. Please ask any questions before bidding. Questions within the last 24 hours may not get a reply.

IF YOU WANT THIS PIECE, I SUGGEST THAT YOU BID EARLY AS I MAY END THE AUCTION IF THE COUNTER NEARS 50 AND T ARE NO BIDS!!! So don't wait to bid. So often bidders are disappointed when they get "locked out" of an auction before it closed because ebay was sluggish or power went down due to system overload or a virus, especially at peak times, OR they even just got SNIPED! T is a way to prevent this from happening to you! The best prevention is to let the computer do your bidding! When you bid on an item, rather than placing the minimum bid, place a bid that represents the highest amount you're willing to pay for that item. The computer will take over from t and automatically place counterbids in your name, AND ONLY up to the amount you specified in your bid. This is called "proxy bidding" and is a great feature of ebay auctions. It helps prevent bidder's remorse and assures ...
