Louis Vuitton rare antique early 20th Century Carrying Trunk A exceptionally rare and attractive leather and brass bound orange colour early compact Vuittonite totally original Louis Vuitton trunk, early 20th century, the lift-top enclosing a pull-out tray, the top leather handle, brass lock, corners and studs all fully stamped, also with trade label to inside. Interior with original red label and numbered 132091, Measurements - 24 x 15.5 x 11.5insIn totally correct and 100% original condition, with the interior tray and pull straps intact, The inside canvas lining and interior lid webbing is intact. There are a few rust spots and stains on the material lining, the original orange Vuittonite and outside leather edging , thick signed leather carrying handle and corners are in excellent overall condition, naturally with signs of light travel use. The brass fittings, lock and studs are all in superb condition Simply a lovely honest and most attractive example. Overall the travel trunk is in excellent and very sound order, the wood being solid and rot free, with excellent patination and great character and would provide a grand way to travel or a perfect shop window display. I am happy to deliver to a reliable local packer free of charge and ship anywhere in the world at the actual cost, or the buyer can happily collect from me. Absolutely no reserve whatsoever on this rare find.
