Offered to You from Shop At Home Antiques: You are bidding on an ANTIQUE IRWIN 5 CHEST DRAWERS HIGH TALL BEDROOM DRESSER Louis XV French Style Features: 5 Drawers Marked with original metal tag: Pendleton, Irwin (Furniture Company, Grand Rapids Michigan). The Pendleton line by Irwin was only produced in the 1940s. This piece is in immaculate condition. T is LOUIS XV pin moldings that are all in excellent condition and have no missing areas. The ornate metal handle pulls are all original and in very good condition. The handle pulls are foliate clad ornate brass. The dresser is built well, high craftmanship, attention to details. All of the drawers have dovetail construction and open and close with ease and mastercraftsmanship. Top two drawers are 5" tall, base 3 drawers are taller, 6" tall. Top right drawer features a light lime green valet and the third drawer down features light lime green wood dividers. The cabinet top is serpentine shape and has very minimal use wear. It features beveled edging and leaf carved corners. The cabinet front features Figural Walnut decorative grain fronts that are in beautiful condition, minimal wear. The base or skirt of the dresser features formed carved edging, in very good condition. The legs are strong and sturdy and are french carved. This dresser or chest of drawers is very impressive. Solid, sturdy, no structural problems and very pretty. It can be used in the hallway, bedroom or anyw w extra storage can be made pretty! Condition: No structural problems. Minimal use wear.
