Youare bidding on a Louisville & Nashville Railroad timetable dated June 1, 1912 (No. 210). Inside you’ll find 34 pages of schedule and other information about the New Orleans Limited , Southland Special , Dixie Flyer , Cincinnati Limited , South Atlantic Limited , and other fine L&N passenger trains. Lots of branch line and local service is shown, including Frankfort-Beattyville; Corbin-Norton; Birmingham-Calera; Columbia-Sheffield; Flomaton-Selma; Owensboro-Russellville; Richmond-Stanford, and between many other communities. Schedules are also shown for the Ponchartrain Railroad and the Mammoth Cave Railroad. Full-page advertisements promote excursion tickets to summer resorts, Tuesday fares to the Great Central South, and Mammoth Cave and Colossal Cavern. A centerfold map shows the L&N and its connections. The front cover shows wear and soil. A light, circular moisture mark can be seen on most pages at the center of the spine; an even lighter mark occurs along the outside page edges. The timetable also feels ‘wavy’ from moisture exposure.
