UP FOR BIDS IS A "JIM HICKMAN" AUTOGRAPHED , GENUINE, (POWERIZED) #125 LOUISVILLE SLUGGER MAJOR LEAGUE BASEBALL BAT MADE BY HILLERICH & BRADSBY CO. OF LOUISVILLE, KY. Jim Hickman was a right-handed outfielder who between Apr. 14th, 1962 and July 14th 1974 played with the New York Mets, L A Dodgers, Chicago Cubs and St. Louis Cardinals. He made the All Star Team in 1970 with the Cubs and had four "firsts" for the New York Mets; the first Met to hit for the cycle, hit the last ever home run at the Polo Grounds, in the last game ever played in that stadium, the first Met to hit three home runs in one game, and he was the last of the original Mets when he was traded to the Dodgers (along with infielder Ron Hunt) for outfielder Tommy Davis on 29 Nov., 1966. In 1969 for the Cubs he hit .315 with 162 hits, 33 doubles, 32 home runs, 115 RBI's, 102 runs scored and 93 walks and made comeback player of the year......This is a nice looking bat and has traces of pine tar on it, especially just above the grip area. The handle gradually tapers upward toward the bottom end in the last 5 or 6 inches and in the last inch 1/2 rises at about a 10 degree angle, making a very unusual grip or nub. The end is slightly concave, and has the figures T115 etched into it. It's a 34 inch bat and 41/2 or 5 inches below the big end, on the sweet spot, it has a read more
