SILVER & CLOISONNE APPETIZER or COCKTAIL SET* This auction is for a stunning estate purchased vintage silver and cloisonne appetizer cocktail serving set, has unlimited uses. Hallmarked SILVER on the back of every implement. Silver tests .925. Forks have three prongs and measure 5 3/4" long. Spoons are between a demitasse size and a teaspoon, bowls are 1 3/4" x 1 1/8". Both spoons and forks are embellished with 2" of cloisonne enamel work on both sides of the top of the handles, shown. Beautiful handcraftsmanship with an iridescent quality shimmering Ginbari style Cloisonne very reminiscent to guilloche enamel in appearance. Color is magnificent, a stunning blue dominates. Left as acquired, not recently cleaned or polished, shown from every angle, exhibits a tarnished patina. A beautiful silver & cloisonne set...very pretty, fit for a queen and offered with a very modest reserve.
