Up for Sale is this... Beautiful antique Belton. she looks French, but cannot be sure she is not German made for French trade. Her bisque is lovely with no chips cracks or mars of any kind. She has brown glass paperweight eyes. She has one blue earring, but unfortunately the mate to it was lost at some point. She has the typical dome head with three holes and elastic going through two of them to hold head on body. The back of her head is marked 127 with an X under it. Her body is unique, with the trunk being in two pieces. The top part lifts off to reveal an internal aparatus made of cardboard with strings going through a hole in her side . This seems to operate a bellows type internal item when pulled. Perhaps she said "MAMA"? There is also a round hole in the center of her back, for what purpose I am not sure. Other than this her body is typical Belton with straight wrists in generally good condition with usual scrapes and areas of missing finish. Her wig is old and Marked on the inside G B Made in France. She is dressed in a white dress and panties. She wears white mesh socks and whicte shoes. The dress, pants and socks may be newer but the shoes look old.
