I am pleased to offer this very lovely and femine French Art Noveau - Art Deco Picture frame dating to the early 1900's...delicate old brass frame made with much filagree details has four swags or wreaths that detail the top, bottom and sides of the frame...beneath glass is original old sea shell pink silk more'......the glass actually covers the entire rectangle shape of the frame, with the nice brass filagree laying over the glass...the oval area for the picture measures: 9 1/2" x 7 1/2" and the complete frame measurement is; 8 3/4' x 10 3/4".......original old velvet back is in beautiful condition with stable back support and brass circle for hanging if you wish to use it as a wall frame rather than a table top or vanity frame...this is a wonderful "Out of Africa" like piece....would have meshed nicely in Karen Blixen's bedroom with a picture of Denis Finch Hatten.....Please email with any questions before the end of auction, and thank you for considering another one of my antique and vintage treasures......
