Attractive vintage Salter No 25 brass and cast iron spring postal scales c.1920. Labeled The Scale Mart Co. Weighing Machine Makers London SE2. Size - base diameter 14.5 cm, height 22 cm Weight 2250 grams These scales are part of a lovely group of these interesting postal items that we have been asked to sell and would make a great addition to any collection of postal history. Many of them are a little dusty and tarnished, but all you need to do is to rub on a little metal cleaner and they will shine up perfectly.
