is one "California girl" who has survived for a long time without any chips, cracks, witd flowers in her hair--NOR has she lost her fan! Meet "Amelia," one of the ceramic lady figurines produced by Florence Ceramics, out of Pasadena, California. She is named and signed on the bottom, which also includes the initials "DB" in gold (appears red in the photo). It is so nice to find one of these undamaged. Look at the elaborate skirt folds, sleeve "ruffles" and flowers on her gown! The ruffled bodice has gold painted "lace" trim against her skin. Each of the grey flowers down the front of her skirt has green leaves, accented with gold paint, as is the center of each flower. Her fan, the center of her gown's bodice down to her waist, and the center gather of the back of her gown below the waist are all accented with gold paint, as well (may be able to see it in photo 2). Her facial features are lovely with bright red lips, a faint pink blush on her cheeks, and long eyelashes. Two pink flowers secure her twist curls. I found one place on her right sleeve below the maroon cuff which looks like either two tiny lines of white paint--or paint rubbed off (see photo 3). It is not a crack! She stands a graceful and demur 8.5" tall. Her skirt measures 6.5" in width across the bottom front. She weighs 15 oz. Winner to pay EXACT USPS priority shipping read more
