This auction is for a gorgeous brass kaleidoscope complete with stand. I couldn't find any markings or tags on this piece so I'm not sure of the artist. Because of the detail I think this is a handmade piece--I am most taken with the lovely dragonfly on the inner wheel. Each of the two wheels spin freely and are in good condition. This is a weighty piece that is a for sure show stopper. It's great for any collector! The brass cylinder measures about 12" (not including wheels)--the overall length is about 16". At rest on the base the height is about 6". The wood base has a scratch or two but to be honest...you don't look at the base. Overall, this piece is in good working condition and ready to become part of your collection. I'm helping my Mom thin down her vast collection of everything so check out my other auctions for more goodies--I'm happy to combine shipping when possible.
