You are invited to bid on this lovely antique toffee tin dating to approximately the 1920s and made to hold Horner's Mixed Dainty Dinah Toffees. It is an unusual angular shape. The lid is beautifully decorated with a colourful embossed design. In the middle is a roundel containing a portrait of Dainty Dinah - a pretty girl wearing a neat bonnet. They are brightly coloured in turquoise, yellow and gold against a bright orange ground. The lid is bordered by a gold band containing a row of orange diamonds. The tin measures just over 6", by just over 3", by 1.5". The side of the tin bears the details of George W Horner, and the Horner trademark. The side of the lid bears the 'Mixed Dainty Dinah Toffees' name. It is in good condition for its age with no dents.
