Stunning antique vintage ring in 10k white gold, containing one large oval Opal cabochon, 4 prong set. There are 26 round single cut diamonds bead set in half halos around the Opal and 1 each side of the opal with 4 baguette diamonds, bar set 2 each side of the opal, at app. .30 ctw with a color and clarity grading of � J-SI1,2,I1. Measures app. a finger size a little more than a 4. The underside of the mounting is curved so it doesn't slide down the mandrel evenly. The top of the ring measures 23mm tall, with the Opal at app. 19mm by 9.5mm in size. The mounting is stamped inside 10k and has very nice open work filigree and beading design on the shank. The underside is very well made, too having a solid gold plate. In excellent vintage condition; opal has little surface wear with awesome play of color with lots of greens and oranges; diamonds are bright with very good color & clarity.
