Lovely C1910 Kralik /Loetz Czech Threaded Bohemian Iridescent Art Glass Vase Presenting a stunning applied vertical threading art glass vase for your consideration. Utilizing a method of decoration first used by the ancient Egyptians, the threading technique is accomplished while the glass is still hot and applied while the vessel is still attached to the glowing blow rod. The result is the tactile "reeding", "threading" or "veining" ornamentation, as exemplified on this beautiful vase. This top-quality specimen is finished with applied swags of luminous iridescent yellow embellishments that quite resemble Tiffany "Favrille" glass, both in color and luminosity. The vase measures 4 3/4" tall X 8 1/8" wide at the widest and weighs 2 pounds, 4 ounces. And we are pleased to report that the vessel remains in excellent condition. There are no chips, cracks, discolorations, nicking or even flea bites present. The clear threading & yellow applied portions have been well examined, and no nicking or other flaws are present of any kind!! Much more beautiful than my photos could possibly show, this form & style is also associated with the Pallme-Konig glass house of Bohemia. Buyer to prepay $14.00 for secure s/h. Best of Luck!
