Up for one's viewing is an 18th or early 19th Century Capo-di-Monte porcelain figurine that is of a young woman who seems to be ever so care free as she is seen in the photos. Her ruddy cheeks are so life like, and her ruby red lips are quite astounding in quality. Her eyes keep focused on her journey as she strolls upon the green path beneath her. She is donned in a beautiful navy colored top with gold designs; her sleeves are somewhat rolled up near her elbows, thus highlighting the casual atomsp An unforgettable lavendar bow is tied around her waist as it meets the floral design of her dress; it has burgundy flowers with green folage. The mid portion of the dress is a lighter pinkish color with green folage and red blooms. Clearly, this is a person of wealth. She is wearing white stocking like apparel on her legs, and her shoes are navy, matching her top. Golden colored folage is seen on the green lawn. The lady's hair is neatly combed back and placed in a bun. The hair is kept in place by the pinkish ribbon like item in her hair. The circumference of the base is eight inches. The height of the piece from the base is six inches. From the outer right hand to the outer left hand is a distance of two and three fourths inches. The circumference of the dress at its widest is about six and a half inches. One will see that the base is white with gold highlights. Underneath, one will see the crown mark that is listed in Kovel's Dictionary of Marks, 1650-1850, page 194. I tried my best to make quality photos, but the prints do not do this piece justice. It is in near perfect condition, the only flaw being the tip of her right index finger is chipped off. T is a very reasonable reserve with this item. I give refunds if the item is not as described. Insurance is required, and the shipping costs are estimated to be around $17.00 in the US; however, if shipping is cheaper than what is quoted, I will refund the difference. If shipping is more than what is quoted, I will pay the difference. International bidders are welcomed in that I ship worldwide.
