For your bidding pleasure is this fantastic sounding 50 note Swiss cylinder movement by John & Edward Cuendet, ca. 1950's. Noted for their exceptional ability to arrange the best possible music on smaller music boxes, this one sounds twice its size! The wonderfully arranged tunes are "Blue Danube Waltz" and "Vienna, City of My Dreams". The tone quality is rich, with exceptionally deep bass notes, and t are many trills and flourishes in these two selections. This movement is in great shape and has been lubricated, and is operating well... However, the box is not in the best of shape! That's why I'm listing the Cuendet as a movement and including the box at no extra charge. You can see from the pictures t are broken panels inside the box, and t is some missing veneer on the outside and various dings and dents all around the case. With that said, the box from the outside is not all that bad. It's just the inside has seen some abuse. So, if you have a nice box needing a quality movement, then this Cuendet is just the thing. Or, if you are handy at woodworking you could remake the inside panels, and then you would have a reasonably nice case. Most of the problems are in the inside of the case with the missing tune card and damaged panels. The tune card could easily be made on your computer.
