Description A beautiful rare English antique Edwardian solid sterling silver & faux cow-bone whist marker/counter by the silversmiths Sydney & Co and with a full set of English silver hallmarks for Birmingham 1902 . Excellent quality genuine 112 year old sterling silver example in good condition , and with no added personal engraved inscriptions or monograms. Original leather covering on the base. Weighs 68 grams. Measurements Measures approx. 3.75 inches (95mm) x 2.3 inches (59mm) and is 0.4 inches (10mm) deep. Date Antique Edwardian solid sterling silver with a full set of English silver hallmarks for Birmingham 1902 (date letter "c"). Excellent clear struck marks. Maker Silversmiths initials "S & Co", (Sydney & Co). Condition Good condition , no splits or cracks to the silver, no solder repairs, definitely no wear holes and no nasty knocks or dents, just a couple of tiny age-related surface bruises, really nothing much at all. Slightly bent, doesn`t quite sit flat. The faux cow-bone/ivory markers have no chips or missing pieces
