Please check my current listings for other antiques, collectables and works of art which may be of interest to you. This is a stylish Art Nouveau mahogany mantel clock dating from around 1905. The front of the case has beautiful fruitwood inlay of art nouveau motifs plus boxwood banding around the leading edges. It has a French 8 day movement with a white enamel dial, Roman numerals and steel hands. The case sits on four brass bun feet below a stepped base and measures approximately 10 inches (25.5 cms) tall with a dial diameter of 3.25 inches (8.25 cms). In good condition, the case has no splits or chips, only some surface wear to rear. The dial and glass have no chips or cracks. In good working order, it comes complete with integral key winder.
