This is a beautiful Haviland-Limoges covered vegetable decorated with garlands of pink roses, green leaves and tints of blue. The cover and the bowl are scalloped and trimmed with gold. The open handles and the top of the cover are also trimmed in gold. It is 7 1/4" wide and 2 1/2" high to the edge of the cover. The. inside of the bowl is decorated with roses matching those on the outside. This covered vegetable is double marked: One is a green with Haviland above the word France and was used from 1894-1931 and the second mark is Haviland & Co. above the word Limoges used from 1926-1931. This information was found in Nora Travis's book "Evolution of Haviland China Design". I also have a matching gravy boat with attached underplate which I will be listing soon. This is an unusually lovely Haviland-Limoges covered vegetable to use, display or just enjoy!
