A lovely Jane Hutcheson arrangement. She designed Toleware arrangements I think in the 70's for Gorham. This piece is unmarked but completely consistent with her work and was sold to me as Jane Hutcheson by a reputable dealer in South Bend. Approximately 8in x 8in x 8in. The flowers are white and gold with just a touch of green, as well as gold colored buds and gold flowers. The bluebells have dark blue glass beads in them. There are two styles of leaves--fern like ones and geranium style in many shades of olive green. It also has groups of flowers or berries with red glass beads in them--the beads are about 3mm. Many are missing. I keep thinking I'll get some Czech Glass beads for about $3.00 and fix it, but just have not gotten around to it. The vase itself is perfect in white porcelain, gold, and royal blue.
I will be selling toleware--so perfect for your summer porch --over the next few weeks. I also have a collection of Wall pockets--little figural vases that hang on the wall--that will go over the next few weeks. They are darling on your porch or in any dark corner! My auctions end on Sunday and I ship on Mondays and Fridays. Please pay within 3 days of auction end--makes it fun for everyone! I love having fun on eBay and have been a member since 1999, doing a little selling and more buying. I pack very carefully as I know what it's like to open your treasure and find it broken. I am very pleased the eBay expects more from sellers now than it used to--but that makes your feedback important. I leave feedback as soon as you pay (within three days) without waiting for yours. I figure if you have paid quickly, that's your job as a buyer, and the rest is on me.
