This is an auction for a LOVELY MEXICAN DESIGNER BROOCH/PIN BY MARGOT DE TAXCO! This little beauty is sterling silver, marked as such on the back along with the designer's name and an additional rock or arrowhead shaped marking with a 16 in the center of it. T is also a small round circle of words that I cannot make out as to what they say. (I was a Spanish major in college, but still am not sure)-it looks as though it begins with an H-t is also the word Mexico and some numbers I think. The pin measures about 2 & 1/4" in length, by about 1 & 1/2" in height at the top most portion, and condition is very, very good. I see no chips nor cracks in the enamel work on it-t is a nice shade of brown on the donkey, with a light blue mane, black harness strap, the little guy is dressed in white, with a sarape of black and blue enamel, along with a yellow sombrero on his head. The wheel of the cart is a beige speckled color, with a basket full of yellow flowers with black centers and green leaves. It is all encased in sterling silver, and looks nice. This is a designer piece, I am sure, and vintage I believe as well. Winning bidder to pay shipping costs, and payment may be made by cash, money order, or Pay Pal. I do not accept personal checks, but will combine shipping. I ask that if you win my auction that you please be timely in notifying me of your payment plans, preferably within 3 days of auction ending, and naturally, prompt payment is always appreciated! Because this is a high dollar auction (at least for me it is), I will require insurance on it for shipping purposes. I'd hate to have someone win it, me package it and send it, and then something go wrong with the handling and it not reach the destination it should. If you will email prior to auction ending with your zip code, I will figure shipping and get back with you. Please allow me enough time to do so. IF YOU DO NOT INTEND TO PAY, PLEASE DO NOT BID! I hate having to make that statement, but nonpaying bidders cause problems for all of us who participate in Ebay. Please ad to the Golden Rule and treat me as you'd like to be treated!
