Offering this pretty Midwestern blue-aqua globular bottle, 7-1/4 inches tall, from the 1815 to 1830 period. The bottle is an attempt at a "broken swirl," the top portion having a vague swirl pattern, and the bottom having vague vertical ribs. The result is something beautifully irregular, and the squat, short-neck form adds to the bottle's appeal. In clean, damage-free condition; just about perfect. An unusual and lovely bottle from the height of glass-making in America. No international bidders unless you can provide a U.S. shipping address. The shipping cost includes an estimate of the insurance price.
