Here we have a lovely and most useable set of 12 solid silver hallmarked cake forks of very good gauge and weight.Hallmarks are stamped to the top of the stems.
A very special and eye catching set indeed..
A really delightful and scarce set of 20th century forks.
Their length is of good size at 4.875 inches.
Assayed in Sheffield,1963-year letter v.Makers are Emile Viner.
The pattern is either Chippendale or Dubarry-i always get them confused.Your comments are welcome!
Each lovely item is of exceptional quality and each is a most delightful piece of antique table silver.
Their combined weight is a good 204 grams (6.56 troy ounces),each piece is made of very thick gauge silver throughout. All they need is to be used!
The condition is excellent.
Each is unengraved.
Please note that i have listed many other good items of both modern and antique silver, please do have a look-including more teasets, canteens and good individual pots.
A truly beautiful and most wonderful lot.
Would be ideal for the collectors to enhance their collection.
Also ideal as a special present.
Would doubtless cost an awful lot of money in a good retail outlet today..
