Set of 4 spoons up for auction: ornately decorated antique Whiting Sterling Lily patterned just over a dainty 5 1/4 inches in length. They have the Whiting symbol, along with 1902 Pat, and a R'D 1902 (register mark ). My camera definately does not capture their beauty.-unpolished to capture the detailing. As any used piece of this era, they have use marks on the interior & exterior bowl of the spoon, but in beautiful condition by comparison to others and considering their age. When polished they sparkle of beauty with lily detailing enhanced on both sides of the sterling handle which enhances it's stunning appearance. Definately treasured through the years. The intricate lily pattern is to say the least simply elegant and a definite mark of the craftsmanship of another stylish era. T is a Monogram on these pieces, but the style is so lavish, it is hard to decide on what initial it is. When looking at it as a table setting, perhaps an E with a line through, or from the opposite angle D. Personally one could use their imagination for alot of configurations. Definately a beautiful addition for the elegant table setting reflective of its age. Although dainty in style, they are of good weight, intricate detailing, and simply gorgeous when shined. T is no reserve set on these, so happy bidding on this set of four lovely lily patterned
