VICTORIAN ROSEWOOD WRITING SLOPE FOR RESTORATION This is a lovely rosewood slope, victorian and in need of some restoration, It has very nice satinwood inlay on all the corners, escutcheon and cartouche on the top and front. The restoration needed really is some small bits of rosewood veneer missing on two of the front corners, the catch to the secret drawer compartment is not clipping back though it is all complete it just does not hold, and also the little brass catch will not clip into the letter holding compartment either, so with a little loving care and attention it will be perfect. There is no inkwells or key. As you can see from the images i have shown all the relevant restoration and also how nice it is too.
