VERY CUTE VICTORIAN SOLID SILVER MUSTARD POT WITH ORIGINAL LINER This is a lovely little mustard pot with a pretty pattern running along the bottom half, edge and top. Inside is the original blue glass casing, which is a little chipped around the edge, but is usable, I have in fact used it myself at dinner parties! The pot is about 3.25 inches long by 1.25 inches high and weighs 69 grams (with the little silver spoon, but not including the liner). There is very little damage as far as I can see, although there are some strange numbers under the rim at the front and at the back which are stamped into the silver. I have no idea what these numbers mean, but under the numbers at the front are some equally strange pitted marks. Apart from this everything else is normal, no splits etc. the hallmarks are as follows Makers mark JNM (I don't know who this is) Lion passant Date letter U for 1894 Anchor for Birmingham assay The lid is also stamped with the lion passant and date letter U only. Please note that the little silver spoon that comes with it is not the original spoon. It is however solid silver and is fully hallmarked for Sheffield 1923 All questions welcome and no reserve
