An early lithographed tin plate locomotive (wind-up) made by the German company Gebrüder Bing . Gauge 0 The brothers Ignatz and Adolf Bing started the toy company in N ürnberg, Germany, in 1865. In 1933 the company was taken over by Bub. The Bing makers mark is on the smoke box door at the front. It is the early ` GB ` (intertwined) mark which was used before 1917. The labels on either side of the cab read ` 210 `Length: 15 cm, width: 5.5 cm, hight: 9.5 cm. As you can see from the photos, the tin plate model is in good condition for its age, but there is a problem with the cabin which is not longer attached to the boiler (one small tinplate latch is gone). Signs of old repair at the front cylinder boxes. The lithographed paint work has scratches. Some over-paint. The wind-up mechanism does not work. .Delivery within the UK : Royal Mail Signed For 1st Class Delivery to Germany with Royal Mail Standard would cost £10. I ship wordwide.
