This is a well modelled figure of a lady with a fan made in Thuringia by Rudolstadt Volkstedt in around 1900. She is one of a a pair - the male figure is also available and ends 15 minutes after this one. Combined airmail shipping for the pair will be $29 to the USA. This figure is 8.2 inches tall (21cm). She has a ruff around her neck and has her fan half open. She was very dusty when I bought the pair at an estate auction in Edinburgh and on seeing the photos I should have left her longer in soapy water! Condition is very good but she has her little finger missing w she is holding the fan and she also has 2 fingers missing on the other hand. Underglaze blue pitchforks to base and incised number '19'. Postage to USA by airmail is $18, to Europe is $10, UK postage is £3
