Low Wide 19thC Antique Kerosene Lamp & Shade ... ... This very low, wide Kerosene Lamp is all original and in very good condition. It's difficult to see, but on the bottom of the 8 ¾" in diameter glass font, it is marked I believe with A large "S" and a small "b". The wick adjuster is marked, "Kosmos Vulkan W&W" and at the top the unusual burner is marked, "Imperial Pat. 19 Aug. 1881." The burner is in good condition, but the wick adjuster is frozen. I think I am the first person to try and move it in a hundred years. The hand blown globe is original and measures, 10" in diameter by 5" tall. With the original chimney this antique Kerosene Lamp measures, 14" tall.
