You are bidding on the US Navy or Marine Corps LPU 23 C/P life preserver or floatation device shown in the pictures. I do not use stock photos what you see in the pictures is the exact LPU/23 you are bidding on. This is the one the fighter pilots and attack squadron jet jockies wear. Marine aviators flying harrier jump jets Naval flyers in the F-14 F-18 Intruders and basically any fixed wing aircraft that has an ejection seat. Do not confuse this with the LPU 21 horse collar preservers that are meant for rotary aircraft helicopters or craft that are not equipped with martin baker and other ejection seats. As you can see the preserver is in great shape. Beaded pull handles are intact and the Serial number is written on back in black marker as you would expect. Take a look at the pictures the " warning automatic inflation device installed for use in ejection seat aircraft only " stencils are nice and sharp. Casing and bladders are in great shape. If you have a faded greasy lpu maybe it's time to upgrade or if you've been displaying an lpu-21 or even an earlier LPA-1 collar preserver on that "fighter pilot" mannequin with your survival vest and MA-2 torso harness this is your chance to get the correct preserver. Throw this in with your G-pants flight helmet aviator oxygen mask and gloves and your set. I am selling this preserver as a collectible only. I do not advise anyone using it as a life saving device, it has no co2 components. YOU WILL NOT BE DISSAPOINTED IN THE CONDITION OF THIS PRESERVER!! Please ask all questions before you bid. Shipping will be figured based on your zip code or for foreign bidders your country. PLEASE DO NOT SEND PAYMENT UNTIL YOU RECEIVE AN INVOICE FROM ME THAT INCLUDES SHIPPING COSTS . Please contact me within 48 hrs. of receiving the invoice so I know it reached you. I do my best to calculate accurate shipping costs based on weight but can be off a little one way or another (I don't run every package to the post office to be weighed before giving you a shipping quote). Shipping costs are already high and it is not my intention to gouge anybody on shipping. Unless otherwise noted I ship my packages via USPS Priority mail , this goes for international buyers also. International bidders must send payment via paypal in U.S. funds (dollars). Payment is expected within 7 days of auctions close.
