Lrg Diamond Shape Space Shuttle Heat Shield Tile Block

THE REAL THING REMOVED FROM SPACE SHIP SHUTTLE In 1984

Wow, what a great find , actually removed from the Shuttle and scraped is this large space shuttle heat shield tile , awesome even shows the shuttle numbers of the ship it was on and the date removed 11-30-84.

SORRY NO INTERNATIONAL SALES ON THIS PAIR.

I guarantee this 100 percent to be from the belly of the Shuttle and removed for scrap however this was not flown in space as it was replaced , an awesome large diamond block in great shape but corners damaged as shown . The only thing I'm not sure of is which Shuttle it was on and removed from, however the numbers on the tile would tell all that at NASA and from what I'm told is available with some time and effort but I didn't go that far.

*I do know this is a must for any Space or Science enthusiast , not every day is available a large pair objects like this that works against the earths entry to ensure safety of the space crew Astronauts , still amazes me to this day as this is extremely light weight ,.I received a huge NASA Space program collection from a person that had full clearance and lots of connections to the NASA space program so lots more rare hard to find stuff to come.

*This is 10" long from corner to corner and 6 1/2' tall from corner to corner and is 3 1/4" thick.
