is a spectacular pair of porcelain bisque piano babies. They are finely molded and handpainted. T is a textured finish to their and socks. T faces are so realistic, right down to their little teeth. The boy is holding an open book with flowers on the pages. He is missing a shoe. The girl is also wearing only one shoe as she has the other one in her hands. Her sock is drooping off of her foot. My photos do not do them justice. They are in mint condition with no damage or repairs. All I know of their history is that they were brought to the US around 1900 from Austria. They are not marked but many Heubach figures weren't. They definitely look to be from Germany. They measure 12" high. Please see my other beautiful antique figurines.
