...... The stone this 2 ½" wide by 5 ½" long by 5" tall Bear Head is carved from is a much darker green with more matrix than most other Eskimo Stone Carvings I have handled. On the bottom are the artist signature and a number as well as an old tag that reads "SP 58 Eve Nonetuk." I cannot make out what is in the left hand corner of the tag. This early 20th century Eskimo Stone Carving is in perfect condition and reserved to sell.
