Greetings. This is a Luba carved wooden Caryatid female figure which supports a seat. This stool was collected in the Democratic Republic of the Congo and was made by the Luba tribe. This Luba made artifact is in excellent but slightly worn condition with some old repairs made in Africa and would make a fine addition to any African culture collector's treasure trove. This beautiful stool measures 17 inches long and 8 inches wide. Please feel free to email me for additonal pictures before buying.
