Pavarotti A rare authentic youthful 5x7 signed photo of the late great Luciano Pavarotti as Arturo in Bellini's I Puritani. One of his most famous roles, famous for the fearsome high notes he sang with ease. Dated 1971 at the start of his career, the signature is very well articulated, before he acquired a celebrity signature. This photo came from the famous Frank Giamboy collection. Giamboy was a Philadelphia schoolteacher of national fame (he corresponded with Barbara Bush, Hillary Clinton and Laura Bush) who was very close to Pavarotti, even helping with his work with promoting Philadelphia Opera and students in the area.
