DESCRIPTION: This great looking green & red pack of Lucky Strikes is from 1940-41. It is full and unopened. This was how the packaging looked until 1942 when, due to the demand for green pigment for the war effort, the color of the packs was changed to white. This initiated an ad campaign--"Lucky Strike green has gone to war"--by the American Tobacco Company. A terrific find for your collection!
