1959 Lego "Peanuts" Lucy Bobblehead/Nodder Lucy wears her familiar red dress & crabby expression. On page 118 of Andrea Podley's book, "Peanuts Collectibles." Book price $65-100. She notes: "Because of their date of issue, 1959, they depict earlier incarnations of the characters and not many items do this." Papier mache', the figure is about 5 3/4" tall. Base says "Lucy, of the Peanuts Comic Strip." Bottom has the "Lego" sticker, that says Fine Quality, Japan; United Features Syndicate mark, too. Lucy is in very nice condition. The bobble spring is tightly attached and working. Only downside is paint & finish loss on the underside of Lucy's back hairline; however, it can't be seen when displayed.
