Up for auction today is a vintage Lufkin combination square set. This is a very nice set, with a hardened square head, reversible protractor (level intact), hardened center head, and no rust damage. The scale features 4R graduations (8ths, 16ths, 32nds, 64ths). The downside is that the level vial on the square head is broken, the scribe is missing, and a previous owner's name was engraved on the protractor and square heads, then filled and painted over. Most of the paint is a black wrinkle finish, but the repainted areas were done in gloss black. A previous owner's name is engraved on the scale as well. That having been said, this is still a good, perfectly functional tool, and will serve its new owner well for years to come.
This item will ship to US buyers via a Priority Mail Flat Rate box, for $8.95. Fees for shipment to Canadian buyers will vary; I use Priority Mail International. If you have any questions, I'd be happy to answer them provided you give me ample time before the end of the auction. This item is also available for pickup in person in Portland, Oregon or Vancouver, Washington. No returns or refunds, this item is sold as-is.
